Plan To Succeed

Happy New Year Everyone! First off, let me begin by thanking God for everything and everyone currently in my life and allowing me to come this far. Now, to be honest, I can't exactly pinpoint at which point in my life I became Interested in aviation but I do remember when I received my first copy of Flight Simulator which was the 2004 edition along with my first Joystick for Christmas from my uncle who was also very intrigued with aviation and to this day still is. I spent hours of my day staring at aircraft panels etc. until I had it all figured out. Soon enough staring at a monitor became dull as you can imagine [lol] so there was only one other logical step :-)  This passion, love, whatever you want to call it for aviation, is not one that can be easily ignored if at all.

Now onto my journey. I had my first flight with a buddy of mine in 2008, Romel who invited me along to one of his flight lessons because he knew I was interested. From that day, the deal was sealed and I knew that whatever happened thereafter, I had to make my way into that left seat. Within a few weeks, all the necessary sacrifices were made on my part and I was well prepared to start, both ground school and flight training. I started my flight training and was making wonderful progress, I had an excellent instructor. It was all planned out like clockwork. However, suffice it to say and to make this story extremely short, things don't always go as planned and unfortunately, myself and a host of others were obstructed by what I would prefer to say were unforeseen hindrances, which I know over time has deterred, frustrated and deeply discouraged some, if not all persons who shared an interest. People always have this perception that it can't be done, Its not attainable or they just have this general lackadaisical attitude. This attitude is prevalent throughout Barbados' society. However, they are still a few of us, some my close friends, who are determined enough to rise above all this and pursue their dreams and have succeeded or on their way to success :-)

From 2008 up until writing this blog entry, I have been through so much. I started to question myself and my own dreams, my motives. Is this right? Is this wrong? It has been nothing short of a very fast roller coaster ride trying to obtain what seems to be the "unobtainable" but will become a reality this year, 2013.

It's alright to have a dream but when you have a dream and no plan that dream will always remain just that...A Dream. So have a Plan A, If Plan A fails have a Plan B. If you use the entire alphabet maybe you can start using numbers :-)

What I'm trying to say is, don't let anything, whether it be time, person or organization stand in the way of you fulfilling your dreams or accomplishing your goals, always do what's necessary and within means of getting things done.

Thank You all for reading and Have A Happy and Prosperous 2013. I will definitely have more entries as time goes by :-)

Gameboy4iPhone Beta

Gameboy For iPhone/Touch is a great piece of work so I've heard. Plays all your favorite Games on the iPod Touch really smooth and seems to be extremely better than previous emulators that are around.

If you want to be a Beta Tester you would have to donate a minimum of $3US Dollars which would make you an Official Beta Tester. I would have loved to become one but I am 17 and don't have any funds on my Paypal Account as yet.

Here's a quick video of what it looks like.

Quake 3 for iPod Touch *Sigh*

When you think iPod just couldn't get any better Quake 3 Came *Sigh*

This is Quake 3 ported to work on iPod Touch by some Developers and man does it look sweet, It Utilizes the iPod's Tilt Sensitivity and it seems to be running pretty smooth also...but too bad its not gonna be ever released just to see how it would have looked and played here's a video of one of the developers playing Multiplayer.
